Even though the uproar of the 2009 election is over, it may still be too early to tell if the interest that broadcast showed in the political process during the election will continue as we go forward. The 2009 election was one of the most historic the United States has ever had, but only over time will we know whether that will be enough to foster peoples’ ongoing interest and support.
It would be nice if that were the case, because there’s been so much struggle for so long. One group that would certainly benefit would be United States veterans. Many selflessly served their country, and in some cases, they sometimes came home to substandard medical care and broadcast derision. That’s why I calculated some veterans clip art that pays homage to veterans. Using the clip art wherever veterans will see it is a small way we can show our support of them. That appreciation could mean the planet to veterans who have been disenfranchised. It’s vital that we not just celebrate American veterans with rare MemorialDay greeting cards. We need to appreciate their contributions every day. Our veterans deserve it. If we don’t extend that respect toward them; who will?
On the other hand, every American –- not just veterans -– would benefit from the reuniting of the U.S.. I would like to see broadcast saluting American flags when on parade, because they just couldn’t stop themselves from expressing their patriotism. With any luck, that genuine feeling will help Americans achieve peace. But will this unification take place? There are plenty of broadcast who don’t like the changes Obama is putting in place. But that’s just our political process in action. Differences of opinion can in fact help keep the process balanced. At least we hope so. The broadcast of the United States will just have to keep their fingers crossed and wait.
